Staff: The Commission is chaired by a Lebanese Army General

Result: The commission concluded that victim’s families should be able to have those missing for more than 4 years declared dead.
 
LATEST UPDATE

January 2008: The Commission lost credibility when someone who had been missing for more than 4 years was released from a Syrian prison.
