June 2006: In early April 2004, Northern Ireland secretary, Paul Murphy, consulted families, church leaders and community groups on how to structure a proposed Truth Commission to deal with 1,800 unsolved murders and the legacy of the violence in which more than 3,600 people died. [The Guardian]
